Butterfly & SISB Open 2025
Tamasu Butterfly Thailand (TBT), a subsidiary of Butterfly, successfully hosted the Butterfly & SISB Open 2025, an official 3-star grade tournament recognized by the Table Tennis Association of Thailand. Held from July 24 to 30 at the SISB International School in Bangkok, the tournament delivered a dynamic week of high-level competition and advancing table tennis in Thailand.
Butterfly & SISB Open 2025 marked a notable increase in international participation, with over 758 athletes competing, reflecting the event position as a rising tournament for global table tennis. Notably, around 74 international players from diverse countries joined the competition, the tournament reflected the growing popularity and cross-cultural appeal. Players from various countries came together to not only showcase their skills but also to share their passion for table tennis, contributing to a vibrant and inclusive sporting atmosphere.
This year, the tournament featured a total of 22 categories, ranging from youth under 9 years old to senior players aged 65 and above. This ensured that players of all ages, from youth talent to the most experienced veterans, had the opportunity to participate and demonstrate their skills. To further enhance the tournament experience, a mini-game was organized, offering participants the chance to win prizes. This addition provided a fun and enjoyment beyond the matches, ensuring that the tournament was enjoyable for both players and spectators.
The tournament, Butterfly & SISB Open 2025 stands as a testament to the power of sport to unite communities, celebrate diversity, and inspire excellence across generations.
