Press Release―Butterfly to be the title sponsor of the 2023 Asian Table Tennis Championships.
Tokyo, June 19, 2023―Tamasu Co., Ltd. (Head office: Suginami-ku, Tokyo; President: Takako Osawa), which manufactures and sells table tennis equipment under the Butterfly brand, has decided to be the title sponsor of the 2023 Asian Table Tennis Championships.
The Asian Table Tennis Championships (hereafter referred to as “Asian Championships”) are held every two years to determine the number one player in Asia, and the 26th event will be held from the 3rd to the 10th of September in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Takako Osawa, President of Tamasu Co., Ltd., and Ryu Seung Min, President of the Korean Table Tennis Association, the organizing body of the championships, held a signing ceremony.

The Asian Table Tennis Championships is a significant event as players will compete for the qualifications for the 2024 World Table Tennis Championships in Busan, and top-level players from all over Asia are expected to participate, so we are determined to make it a success. The host city of Pyeongchang is also famous for its beautiful scenery, especially in autumn. I hope that visitors will also enjoy the beauty of Pyeongchang.
