Is it better not to clean high friction pimples-in rubbers with cleaner?

Butterfly's high friction pimples-in rubbers can be cleaned with the same cleaner used for other rubbers. The cleaner will not affect the rubber's performance, so feel free to use it whenever it gets dirty.
